Uses

Our 4" vapor barrier tape is designed for other applications like repairing/patching old metal building insulation, stucco applications, masking for paint applications and many other uses when you need a durable tape that is flexible and can easily be removed (without tearing into small pieces) within 30 days without leaving a sticky residue. 

We do NOT recommend the 4” tape for seaming BlueTex™ products. The is best and most popular for that. For joining seams and sealing edges, use our for larger holes/tears see our . 

Description

The adhesive on the white tape is pressure-activated and does require firm pressure to adhere well; it can take 30 days to fully cure to maximum adhesion. All tapes have an aggressive adhesive for all temperature ranges that won’t separate over time. It also works great for other applications like stucco and paint masking.  It won't leave a sticky residue after removal. Peel it directly off the roll and stick it onto the clean surface to get superior hold.

BlueTex™ vapor barrier tape is constructed with a super-strong PET Film, so you can continue to have exceptional strength and durability just like you see in our other BlueTex™ products.

Size: Vapor barrier tape rolls are 4" wide by 180' long, available individually, in a bulk set of 12 rolls, or in a case of 24 rolls per box.

Color: White gloss (matches our white products)

Backing: None - peel off the roll and stick

Thickness: 7 mil (0.19mm)

Application Temperature Range: 45°F to 120°F ( 7°C ~ 49°C)
Operating Temperature Range: 20°F ~ 200°F (-7°C ~ 93°C)
